Kirkland Mixodidil

Has anyone used Kirkland 5% minoxidil? I've seen it for a decent price online.

I've never used Regaine or Rogaine but i'm thinking of buying this generic version to see if it helps. Are teh generic versions as good a steh real thing?

I'm already taking Cipla generic finasteride.

The are mixed feedback on this. The plus is the price. Some people find it itching, red or other side effect because it contains PG. I started using NO PG products since I am allergic to PG. My friend recommended one product "TriBooster for Men" on Amazon.
I will have a try. Not sure if any people have used it and can share their experience.

I have only used the branded stuff but i have heard some positive comments through the years on Kirkland products dude. Did you end up trying any?

No. I've used Regaine foam, and I'm currently using the liquid. On and off for about a year. Dont think its done anything for me, but ive been of finasteride for a while so hard to tell if it would've been useful. Back on cipla fin 1/4s tomorrow, though.

I will keep everyone updated.

I think im losing hair with just regaine luquid and im getting a lot of dandruff when i've never had dandruff before. Anyone else had this problem?

Really hoping fin helps.

I too had lots of Dandruff using Minoxidil, to counter this I used Nizoral shampoo from boots. I had to stop using the Minoxidil though as the scalp irritation became to severe.

Did Nizoral stop the dandruff? I'll use that if it did. Hopefully it doesnt irritate me too much.

Weird thing is i cant remember Regaine liquid giving me dandruff last time i used it.

My Dandruff was huge flakes, the Nizoral cleared it up.

Nizoral is great as BM says but last time I got some from boots they had it in two strengths 1percent and 2 percent the two percent is best and usually behind the counter dude.

For what it's worth i have used Kirkland products for a long time and am happy with the results and the price.

Thats good to hear dude, it seems the Kirkland range is pretty good and it's very well priced.

in my experience kirkland minoxidil is as good as the commercialised and highly over priced rogain /regain brand. no difference is effectiveness whatsoever.

the 60ml bottle of 5% kirkland minoxidil liquid can be bought for just £5 in the UK.that' 7 times less expensive than rogain / regain!
it's unbelievable that they charge people £35 for one months supply of 5% minoxidil..

it's just a simple medication that any chemist can make in their lab..

Lots of people use generic finasteride these days prescribed from their doctors so i can't see why the generic brand of Regaine "Kirkland" should be any worse than the branded stuff to be honest.

Have just started using Kirkland foam for the past few months, works just as well as Rogaine foam and a lot cheaper too.
However im going back to using Rogaine Foam as it dries in 15 minutes, the Kirkland foam is taking about an hour to dry for me, which is a pain in the backside for me. However i do use double the reccommended dosage, a can lasts me 2 weeks.

You could apply the minoxidil an hour before bed and wash out in the morning, save some money that way.

That's just what i do Bigmacs and it works well for me.
