My baldness comes I think from my Great-Grandfather. All the rest of my family had (or have) thick heads of hair. I am the only bald one.

there's nothing like excessive combing causes hair thinning or hair fall.You problem may be due to any other reasons.Make some R&D and then only come to any conclusion.
