Scalp conditions such as dermatitis a problem for getting a HT?

I'm just wondering if anyone has had a successful hair transplant while having a scalp condition? I have a somewhat mild form of dermatitis and have been quoted a price for 1500 to 2000 grafts by Dr Turan, but just want to research first about possible complications while having a scalp complaint.

Usually this condition will cause dandruff and itchiness/redness. What symptoms are you experiencing? Are you using a particular shampoo to combat this?

Hi Bigmac, sensitivity, dryness, salt like flakes, some redness, itchy. I've managed to keep it reasonably minimal through diet, gentle shampoo as well as nizoral. I just would like to do some research first as I wouldn't want it to comprehend the grafts.
