I think having SMP in the scars is a good idea. It should solve that issue. Depending on how many mis-angled grafts need removing you may be better off have some removed with laser or electrolysis. Punching some out is also an option but usually more costly.

I also think SMP into the donor area would be ideal.

Electrolysis or punching out the grafts in the front in a repair surgery, with added singles to the front rows also some added density in general seems to be needed.

Phil, there is no denying your transplants had a poor outcome. Yours can be disguised whereas this guy would struggle to hide his. This is not to say you are not in a bad place and in need of repair. It would be better to post on your own thread in the repair section. On other clinics' posts, you are free to comment and add a link to your own thread.

Phil, there certainly is unscrupulousl behaviour within this industry. But, there are plenty of decent people too. Your post sounds as though you’re criticizing this forum when you know I have dedicated a lot of time trying to help you.
This forum had no bearing on the choices you made when you chose to have surgery in the UK and then go to Dr Feller twice.
As for hiding your work. Growing your hair longer will cover the FUT scars. Using fibres and hair products to add density and force your hair to go in a certain direction is achievable. Might not be perfect but should improve the appearance. This is in no way an excuse for the sub-par result you have to live with. Your FUT scars have the option of SMP or trying to place grafts in there again. Your mis-angled grafts are more challenging. I believe most clinics would advise they need punched out. I’m watching Dr Mwambas patient on here to see his results from punch out with replacement grafts inserted at the correct angle. If this is successful, it’s an option to look at for you.
I know you’re in a bad place but please don`t tarnish everyone with the same brush.
I’m always here to chat with as you know.

Hi mate
Last thing i want to do is say bad about this forum ive learnt alot from this forum
I would never talk bad about this forum
Only spex and dr feller which i am entitled to
Tried all what u have said and it just dont work and takes time and effect which after spending so much money then to have to do this is not fair
Ive had almost 13 yrs of this hiding what i have 2 deal with
Bigmac u are one of the good guys i know that and so are most of the guys that post on here
Yeah im in a dark place cos dr feller
He was ment to be the best in world and told by spex all uk clinics were bad at that time, in my opinion nothings changed, if fact got worse thats why u have repair, revision section
I dont think transplants really give u the results u want how many ops u have
The fact i have to fork out more money to get fixed if it would fix everything?
Im angry cos i paid to look like this
All im trying 2 say to guys is try non surgical treatments and prevention
Like i said aint gonna post no more
Just replying to u mate
Bigmac u have given me good advice over the yrs and spoke to me which im grateful about
Guys if u read this the only 2 forums are this one and jo tilmen forum
Just be careful and just dont want guys to go through what i went through
Im being honest what i think about hair transplants

That's how it works
Look at the guys who have been on here
After 10 to 15 yrs why ????
Cos there still chasing for repairs ,density
Etc etc its a load of shit
If u going bald shave short grow stubble
Trust me the whole of industry is a sham

I'm sorry to hear that. How do you live your life? Do you wear a hat or hide the bits that you're self-conscious about through styling? Is there nothing (e.g., SMP) that can be done to improve the appearance of things?

Just fed up with hairloss industry
From reading these and other hair loss forums, it seems that some clinics (including some of the big names) are only interested in patients when the surgery is successful. If something goes wrong, then they appear quick to distance themselves.

Philw

Yep u got that right
Its always our fault if it goes wrong
Like i said in my last post
Dont get me wrong hair transplant surgery is a difficult procedure and has its problems i get that
But when u pay so much money and it don't work out u must get help to fix it
So many times i see and hear people like myself get poor results then have to go somewhere else to pay more money 2 get fixed also post on these forums about crap results
Its not fair and clinics just think uf goes wrong u pay more 2 get fixed

I don't like the way you've been hung out to dry by the industry, especially since you went to a respectable clinic. Is there nothing that can be done to help you?

Philw

There is but i could end up looking even worse ie scaring from removal of transplants etc
Also ive got to pay for it as well
Last time i post now
Good luck with everything guys
Be careful and do research before a transplant
Also prevention of future hairloss is the
Key guys
