Reconstruction of a crown area through FUE – performed by Dr. Feriduni – 2267 FU

Follicular Unit Transplantation performed on a 29 years old Caucasian male with:


- Isolated crown balding

- Donor density of ~ 90-100 FU/cm2

- Hair diameter of ~ 55-60 microns


Treatment plan:

A Follicular Unit Extraction with 2000-2500 FU to restore the crown area in medium density

Performed procedure (August 27th, 2012):

A Follicular Unit Extraction with 2267 FU in a single day session


Extraction performed with a 0.85mm and 0.9mm FUE punch with Versi handle.

Parallel incisions (double, triple and quadruple units) were made in custom-sized blades technique (~Cutting Edge blades of 0.9mm).

Great crown work Dr F. I love the swirl, he should be happy with this....his donor looks in good shape for any further work down the line should it be needed.
