Do you have a picture showing your hairline a few years ago.
It does look as though your hairline is on the higher side with some possible thinning.

No, I don't take pictures a lot. Would it be the perfect time to take finasteride or minoxidil? I forget what one does what.

With minoxidil you may get some regrowth in the hairline area.
I personally use Finasteride. Using it since 2005 and it’s worked well at maintaining my hair.
If you feel your hair is receding and thinning I would consider Finasteride.
Read up on the possible side effects that some people experience. Then decide if you want to use it.

Tbh I've had really good results with minoxidil. You must try before it's too late.
