Post-op warning signs

Hi. I'm not sure if this has already been covered. If it has, then I apologize. I'm been reading up on aftercare and I'm wondering, are there any post-op warning signs that one should be aware of? I'm trying to distinguish the normal aches and pains that accompany surgery from things that indicate something may have gone wrong. Thanks.

People react differently to surgery. Some feel pain for days after, others are fine.
Excess bleeding, inflamed scalp, severe headache would be cause for concern in my opinion.

Thanks Bigmac. I appreciate your reply. I'm curious about the transplanted grafts. I've read that they grow for a little while and then shed, entering a dormant state for 3-4 months. Is this always the case? Is it possible for them not to grow at all until 3-4 months have elapsed? Do they always shed? Thanks.

Grafts usually shed within the first few weeks after surgery. Some will grow a little after surgery before shedding, others may not grow. Some grafts may not shed at all, and continue to grow. 3-4 months is about average for the dormant grafts to start emerging. Some can take 6 months.
