Is quitting minoxidil periodically going to hasten hairloss?

I ask bc well, if the telogen phase is sped up too rapidly without a lot of consistent minoxidil increasing bloodflow will hairloss hasten? and get worse rather htan better?
usually they say if you quit minox you will lose ground and then some

Basically does it worsen hairloss to use minoxidil, and hten quit repeatedly? strains the follicle etc.

I’ve known people to lose more hair at an accelerated pace when quitting Minoxidil and not using anything else to prevent loss.

That's interesting that you ask that question. My dermatologist wants to put me a quarter of 2.5mg minoxidil tablet a day. I think she said that it may or may not cause problems if I get off of it. I have been hesitant to use it because I have heard your hair can become dependent on it. Note: I am female, in case my screen name didn't give it away.
