Hi, I stumbled on the website for a company called Hairguard. They offer their own products -- Biogaine Anti-Hairloss Serum, Maxoxidil, etc. They claim that their efficacy is backed by clinical trials, but I'm a bit sceptical, so I thought I'd ask: has anyone tried any of these products and, if so, what was the result? Thanks.

Have these trials gone through all the stages? You’re better off sticking to the proven products that work, Finasteride and Minoxidil. Search Hair cafe hairguard to further your research on the products they supply.

There`s multiple websites offering concoctions for hair loss. Main ingredient is usually Finasteride or Minoxidil, then add some Biotin, vitamins, nettles and for good measure some rare rocking horse poop to create the magic formula all for a price much higher than if you sourced the ingredients yourself.

you know the only two things proven extensively to work so I would just take them. Everyone else is trying to find a new way to make money out of people with hair loss

Thanks, guys. I don't wish to downplay prevention -- without a doubt it's a massive positive. I just wish (along with everyone else) that there were more options when it came to restoration. This vain hope sometimes results in me going against my better judgement and being susceptible to snake oil salesmen.
