Greying in the future

There has been a lot of negative stuff said regarding what happens to a patient who goes grey in the future, my question is, would it not be possible to just add some grey dots and create a salt and pepper type appearance?

Hi Bull ;)
Most people with white or white grey hair look bald or almost bald when you shave them. Even using high magnification (I use 6*) they are hard to see sometimes.

There are virtually no pigments in the hair and it kind off looks like fiber glass.

Pigmenting white or a very light color on Caucasian men would probably have no visual effect.

Thankyou Sabine for taking the time to reply:),

I know what you mean about the light hair looking bald shaven as I have a friend who is very light and he shaves very close, but he has a full head of hair and it makes him look bald too.

Best wishes bn

BN,

I got confirmation from two different SMP artists - permanent ink and temporary ink - they both said no point in applying white dots to the scalp since it becomes invisible.

Thankyou Janna I appreciate it :)

My question now is what would someone who has had the permanent SMP look like if they had had the treatment on the sides of their head say to conceal scars or build donor density was to grey in those areas later in Life. Would it look really odd*nl

It would look odd, it would also look odd for a 80 year old to have a shaved head

What does shaved hair look like if you dye it dark with say just for men......does it work on hair shaved so short, if so it wouldn't be such an issue*nl

Most patients who seem to want the smp treatment with the shaved look are young men. Those who are close to going grey tend to want the thickening effect. I've seen permanent and temporary ink diminish/fade fairly quickly so I have yet to see it look odd on a grey hair patient.
