dermmatch users out there?

Im thinking of trying this product out, when applying does it stick to the hair only or does it stick to the scalp is it better to use wet or dry ? .Thanks for any advice given.

It's a very good product that colors the scalp and hair, it's not a fiber so won't add much volume to the hair shaft.

I know matt from SNG mentioned he was using some type of fill in powder, before his HT, janna would you happen to know what brand it is, and where you can find info on it.no harm in lookin into this aswell.

The name is actually called Fill-In. We sell it for $16.99 at our clinic. It's much cheaper than DermMatch but then it's a lot smaller too.

Since being on meds my hairloss has stoped and ive grown some hair in my front third ,which was bald except for a few hairs in the front hairline. these new hairs aren't terminal hairs , I don't know if they will ever become terminal, so im curious to see if this concealer will make a difference , I have no idea if it will work or not. ill keep you guys updated.}:BY:>?

Great to hear the meds are working for you and you've regrown some hair. Good luck with the concealer as its trial and error when you first use it. It can help you a lot until you decide what your next step will be.

I tried out the product and it didn't work for me, my front third dosent have enough of terminal hair to work as a base for the concealer , im stuck with my combforward for now.which has improved because of the growth of hair in front third and the improvement of the hair for being on meds.does any one know if the hairs from meds turn into terminal hair over time? that would be awesome if it did. it stinks having high forehead and no hairline except for few hairs in center hairline.getting front third back with decent coverage would be AWSOME.framing the face has huge a inpact on your appearance. thanks for reading guys ,

From my experiences, colored concealers such as DermMatch work best at the rear of the head such as the crown and down part lines but not so well at the hairline.

I agree that the concealers aren't great for the hairline. Everyone looks at hairline first and you certainly don't want the concealers to be noticeable. Meds can be very effective in holding onto native hairs and even regrowing some of the lost hairs but I've never seen where you're back to pre-hair loss status. The meds will eventually lose it's effectiveness over time. When this occurs, you can try upping your dose or switch from Fin to Dut. There are no guarantees.
