Most perm SMP results i have seen have been shaved really close but this looks a little longer...how often would you say he needs to shave this?

He is slightly different as he has hair in most of the area so its more filling then re-creating of a hairline, guys like him get away with shaving less, he should be able to go a few days between shaving or using a trimmer versus a complete shave.
