NYC State based HT Surgeons ?

Hi to everyone. I am in the process of embarking on a hair Transplant. I want to do it in NYC, where I live. I see so many people going to abroad. For me, I am willing to spend good money. Just don’t know where to start. Curious to know if anyone has had theirs done in NYC. In NYC, I am seeing the robotic ARTAS system and I am not a fan of that. I learned FUE is better.

Check out Dr Carlos Wesley and Dr Dorin for FUE in the New York area. I`ve met patients from both of them whose results were very good. Maybe look into Robin Unger also.
What is your hair loss situation? Have you looked into hair loss medications and treatments before embarking on a hair transplant?

Thank you so much for replying. Appreciate this forum. I have high forehead and my hair loss situation started in my early to mid twenties. I am in my mid thirties and I have receding hairline, more on my left side. I have not looked into hair loss medications and treatments. it could maybe make a difference in terms of density in crown area which has progressively gotten worse but never knew which is good as there is mixed reviews. I would still like HT to fix my receded hairline and already high forehead.

The medications such as Finasteride and Minoxidil can work great for the majority of people. A small percentage will suffer side effects which are usually the case with any medication.
There are some good examples of what can be achieved in the medication section.
Receded hairlines will normally have to be restored via a hair transplant.
Are you wanting to strengthen and thicken the hairline as is or want to lower it slightly to reduce forehead size?
