You guys are the best, so much information here. Congrats to everyone who has been brave enough to do something for themselves.
So I started my journey 14 weeks ago today, (although technically I had been thinking about having this done a long long time ago) My hair has always been fairly thin, fair and I didn't think I would be a very good candidate for the procedure but figured it was still worthwhile. I went with Dr Spammer, fairly naïve in that I was party led by their trust pilot reviews and the price and I wasn't fully aware of the whole technician model, I always had in my mind that it would be fully trained Dr who would complete the process but do now know that is not often the case and that if you're fortunate enough to have a team of experienced technicians to work with you the end results could be just as good? Perhaps that assumption is wrong....
Quick review of Dr Cinic's clinic, firstly price paid 3190 euors, no major complaints, the clinic is modern and clean, the staff are extremely friendly, attentive and professional. Dr Cinic himself seemed extremely knowledgeable and the consultation with him was useful and reassuring ahead of the procedure. He was present a number of times during the operation to check in on both myself and the progress. The team performing the procedure seemed to work quick but I suspect that was because it was almost like muscle memory for them, a repetitive task which I would hope they had conducted many times before (he hopes)
Post care has been ok, fairly standard responses to any question, but responsive never the less, no complaints.
On to the progress, I will follow up with pre op pics, post op pics, 9 weeks and today 14 weeks. I feel that overall I think I am happy with where I am, there appears to be some growth in the recipient site on the hairline but it's not overly dense at the moment and can see through to the scalp in bright lighting. One question I have for everyone is that at the moment I dont seem to be able to see any new little hairs growing through the scalp, so although I am happy with what seems to be in place right now I was a little concerned I couldn't see any new hairs. Should I expect more to come through or just the existing hair start to mature over the next 9 months? The crown has improved slightly, I can no longer feel bare skin so something is happening up there but my focus has been on the hairline, I understand that the scalp can take a lot longer to grow in.
