Month 8 finasteride (crown looks worse)

Hi, ive currently been taking finasteride and minoxidil for 8 months now but notice that my crown has a bald spot and is thinning pretty fast. Before treatment my crown wasnt an issue. Would this be considered a shedding phase?

Try taking a photo at the same angle as the bottom two.

Your first photo is from above and the others online or below so it may have been like that before

If your crown appears worse after 8 months of using finasteride, it's likely experiencing a "shedding phase" which is a normal side effect when starting the medication
