I think I have had more hair loss than usual for 3 years now, I had a stressful period of a few months before that, I think this has started to have an effect on my hair. Now I also notice that my hair is much thinner than what it used to be and I get a bald spot on my crown. the hair loss is on my entire head. anyone know what this is? and whether the hair will come back or what i can do? My Barber also told me that my hair is thinner then usual.. , I think 24/7 about it and it scars me if i go balt, i’ll do a hairtransplate I’m only 22 years old

Hi Dorss372. In the photo, the area of concern looks like a cowlick/parting. However, if you are concerned that your hair is thinning, I would advise visiting your GP. If your loss (assuming that there is any loss) is stress-related, it usually grows back once your situation improves. If it is genetic, then your GP can advise whether now is a good time to start either minoxidil or finasteride. You're a long way from needing surgery, as your hair still appears quite abundant. I hope that this helps. All the best.

I think it’s probably my just a wide crown and thin hair.

Loss there would seem more diffuse possibly. It is a wide crown but possibly his it’s always been. Have you got any photos of it from years back to give a better view?
