Hi Michael, your hair looks great! congratulations on what is a significant improvement. I am also considering hair Dr too, for a fourth surgery. I've had two in Belgium with Dr De Reys and one in England with Dr Reddy, and still have have 1500-2000 grafts left. I would like to increase the density in my mid scalp. I was wondering if you could give me some information about the surgeon, Dr Arshad, who performed your surgery? There is not a lot on the internet about him/her. Also, before your surgery, did you get to see lots of pictures of Dr Arshad's work/meet any patients?

Thank you for your compliments. Yes I am very happy with my results and I too am having a 2nd procedure to add more density. I have 100% full confidence in Dr Arshad to achieve this and his warm, friendly and professionalism settles any nerves or worries. They're is no sale pitch or pressure, just his professional opinion to what you are expecting/ wanting and the result that can be achieved. His work speaks for itself really.
I believe Dr Arshad is a head and neck specialist and as for finding out about him online I wouldn't know where to look if I'm honest. He is fully registered and the clinic is great. Nice chilled out atmosphere, once you're comfortable you could be anywhere. A 4th procedure? I'd be interested in seeing your before and afters if that okay. If you have the grafts left and there is a achievable outcome of a 4th procedure then I'm sure Dr Arshad will be happy to help.

When are you going for your second transplant Mike dude?

Edsarn I too would love to see your pics. Is there a specific reason why you dont want to return to Dr De Reyes or Dr Reddy...are you not happy with your HT? (sorry just curious dude)...... The results I've seen from Dr De Reyes especially look good to me so I'm surprised your not going back to him that's all bud.

If you do go to Dr Arshad please keep us posted how you get on.

Hi Bullinut,

Mainly due to travelling and now having a young family. Dr De Reys is great, and has an exceptional set up over in Brussels. Dr Reddy said his work was great when they performed my third HT. With Dr Reddy, it is the price. He is not cheap. Satisfied with both surgeons, but just want more in my mid scalp. I am going to contact Dr Arshad next week and book a consultation.

Hey all, some exciting news I wanted to share here on my hair restoration and hair transplant story.

So Next Wednesday the 28th August I will be going back to the hair Dr clinic in Dewsbury, west Yorkshire to have a 2nd FUE procedure by Dr Arshad and his fantastic team to add more density to the hairline and frontal forelock giving me a more dense, natural result.
I am super excited to be going back knowing the outcome and how much it changes your confidence and been more happy with having hair again. I have no nerves about it as I know I am in perfect hands of a superb surgeon and team that care for you every step through the procedure and after.

Will keep up to date posted throughout like before.

No worries @bullitnut It came down to a number of factors. Having had work done with Dr Reddy and Dr De Reys, I can say my experience with Dr Arshad was equal to those. I was confident it would based on my consultation and emails with @Mikes FUE Story. Dr Arshad is a highly skilled and ethical Dr.

@bullitnut what were your experiences of SMP like? How long does it last? I may consider this to add the illusion of density. Will see what everything looks like when my hair grows out.

@Edsarn. Well when I saw Dr Arshad back in March at my year follow up we discussed then a 2nd procedure and he talked about another 3000 grafts. But as you know Dr A will take more/less once he's in there and how things look.

Hey , so yesterday 28/8/19 I had a 2nd FUE transplant with Dr Arshad at the hair Dr clinic in Dewsbury west Yorkshire. Another amazing experience and very professional yet a great friendly chilled environment and the whole team are amazing, everyone been themselves and chatting with you. Makes you feel sooooo relaxed, I even nodded off a few seconds but woke myself up with a little snore ! I'm the kind person who struggles to have a nap on planes ect so I must have been very relaxed. Helen the nurse technician gave me pillows under my head, back, bum and feet.. literally wrapped in cotton wool haha for maximum comfort.
It has been great having Dr Arshad work on me again and he is the best surgeon I could have gone to. Very professional, experienced and highly spoken of his work and his person by fellow patients and colleagues. He's a warm, friendly approachable guy.
Will be updating with a write up for the day and photos and then day by bay experience and then weekly like before. Right now am kicking back chilling out while the bit of swelling on my forehead passes which will be couple days. Feeling tender obviously but as for pain and discomfort.... None. Taking meds provided and keeping my grafts moist to prevent drying out especially when it's been warm recently.
